What can I use Flash for on my site?

Freedrum is an interactive drum machine built from Flash and Koan.

Here's a weird site: (warning, not for the pious or easily offended !) They seem to have combined HTML and Flash to make the worst of both; each page is a separate Flash movie, but you need to navigate between them with HTML. Very clunky !
